Marriage Track

The following are the four different tracks that make up our personal guidance program regarding marriage relationships. The appropriate track for each individual(s) will be determined before or during the opening session.

Premarital Track
In order for a wedding to be conducted by a staff member of LCF, the couple must have
completed the following premarital guidance program prior to the wedding date.

Our premarital counseling consists of three components.
1. 4 in-office sessions
2. Ten audio messages

The following is an explanation of our Premarital Guidance Track.

Step 1: The couple will listen to audio messages 1 – 3 of the audio series – The
10 Commandments Of Marriage (player below) and complete the fill in sheets & take notes individually.

Step 2: Upon completion of step 1, the couple is to schedule an in-office session.

Step 3: The couple will listen to audio messages 4 – 5 of the audio series – The
10 Commandments Of Marriage (player below) and complete the fill in sheets & take notes individually.

Step 4: Upon completion of step 3, the couple is to schedule an in-office session.

Step 5: The couple will listen to audio messages 6 & 8 of the audio series – The
10 Commandments Of Marriage (player below) and complete the fill in sheets & take notes individually.

Step 6: Upon completion of step 5, the couple is to schedule an in-office session.

Step 7: The couple will listen to audio messages (player below) 9 – 10 of the audio series – The 10 Commandments Of Marriage and take notes individually.

Step 8: Upon completion of step 7, the couple is to schedule an in-office session.

Single Session Track
This is a single in-office session to deal with minor issues that may or may not be handled by a
D’ship Group leader. This also may be a session to determine that the person seeking
guidance be referred to either a D’ship Group Leader or professional counseling. These issues
can be handled by a single in-office visit. Many times the aim here is to equip the person with the
tools necessary to deal with the issue at hand, and others similar, without the need for future
in-office sessions. A single session track should usually include assignments of some type
whether that be Bible study, book reading, audio sermons, and/or practical exercises. This track
may or may not include the opening session.

Three Session Track
This includes 3 in-office sessions dealing with issues that may not be handled by a D’ship Group
Leader and that require more detail and effort than a single session track can allow. The aim of
this track is to set a person on the right path in various issues. During these sessions
adjustments in mindsets and/or patterns of behavior are addressed. This track will also equip the
person with the tools necessary to deal with the issues at hand, and others similar, without the
need for future in-office sessions. A three session track should include at least two assignments
of some type whether that be Bible study, book reading, audio sermons, and/or practical
exercises. At least one of these assignments should be Bible study based. This track may or may
not include the opening session.

Referral
Any issue requiring more than 3 in-office visits may be referred out to a licensed professional
counselor.
